How to clone contacts?

Cloning a contact opens an overlay with the contact’s data pre-filled in all the contact fields. You can edit some of the values in the fields and save the cloned contact as a new contact. This saves time compared to manually entering data when contacts share similar information such as a common workplace, identical last names, etc. 

To clone a contact,

  1. Click a contact to visit the contact’s details page and click the three dots icon on the top.
  2. Choose the Clone option.
  3. In the Clone contact overlay, edit the desired fields.
  4. Click Save.

Note: Unique fields must be different in both the records.

You will land on the cloned contact’s landing page. You can edit other fields related to the cloned contact.
